In Term 2, you will learn: the music production process in a professional studio with a real band, the foundations of marketing (e.g. market analysis, SWOT, defining a target market, etc.), social media fundamentals as well as how to effectively plan and manage an artist’s career.

In your final term, you will learn: how to effectively market an artist and related products online (e.g. setting up a website, playlisting, email strategy, etc.), the traditional but still widely-used promotion tactics for artists and music releases (e.g. publicity, guerilla marketing, release parties, etc.), important management, communication and leadership skills to successfully run a business in the music industry as well as all of the most important legal and practical aspects of music publishing (e.g. song registration, contracts, licensing, etc.).
